Pro-shop
With the rise in popularity of tennis and squash
during the mid 1980's the building was once again extended with the creation of
a downstairs Pro Shop and Manager's area in 1988. Since that time the Pro Shop
with its wide range of rackets and accessories for tennis and squash has been
the leading provider of such items in the Hutt Valley.
As the Pro Shop doesn't have the high overheads downtown retail stores have to
contend with the prices at Mitchell Park are nearly always cheaper, and Shane or
his staff are always willing to negotiate on multiple purchases.
The Pro Shop is open seven days a week from 10am to 7pm. For tournaments these
hours are extended.
